It has only 125K original miles and runs & drives outstanding! Don't be afraid to to hop in it and drive it cross country as it is VERY reliable. The gas mileage resembles some of the newer hybrids as it will get 40 mpg without even trying.The previous owner had this car just sitting in in his garage since 2006 when it broke the original timing belt at aprroximately 120K. I purchased the car and had AAA tow it to the Honda dealer where my friend works as one of their mechanics. So, there at the dealer, the cylinder head was completely overhauled and the timing belt was replaced. The car runs excellent and does not burn oil. The transmission shifts very smoothly. I just took it back this month to the same mechanic at 125K miles for new brakes, all new belts, a fresh oil change, new hood latch & cable. The car needs absolutely nothing, just a new home. The interior is very clean and well maintained. It only shows signs of minor imperfections. There is a small crack in the windshield and the digital display no longer shows on the radio. I love the interior design as I have never seen another 96-00 era Civic with this particular pattern. The body is solid and clean! The paint has a great luster to it! The only thing I can find are some signs of touch up paint and there is a dent in the roof, thats it! Please DO NOT hesitate to contact me about viewing the car in person. I would feel more comfortable if you did. If it is not feasible to come out and look at the car in person, then ask questions. A bid of $100 will start out the auction and the car WILL BE SOLD TO THE HIGHEST BIDDER!! Note: The car is for sale locally, so you may not want to wait till the last minute of the auction if you REALLY want the car. If the car is sold locally, I will have to end the Ebay auction early There is a $250 PayPal deposit due within 24 hours of the end of the auction. If not paid within 24 hours, I will have to relist the car. It will be in person pick-up only and the car must be picked up within 7 days of the auctions end date.
