Vehicle Detail

For Sale: 1967 CHEVY CAMARO Convertible Be the envy of everyone at this year's car shows! Or just start her up and enjoy the summer sun! Whatever your motivation you can't go wrong with this beauty. Painstakingly restored over 2 years at the prestigious Hot Rod Haus of Trever, WI, this car is ready for the road. She was my father’s back in the 70’s and sat in his garage, without an engine for nearly 30 years, just waiting for restoration to be completed. In 2005 we decided to bring this beautiful car back to life. After two years of restoration, it’s a gorgeous outcome. The car was returned to its trim-tag specified color which is Marina Blue, black top and interior. Paint and finish is amazing… nearly all the body panels are original except for the hood which needed to be replaced. Odometer clearly show’s mileage around 67k, and this appears completely original. The car wasn’t driven or even saw actual daylight for the 30 years of garage time, so this isn’t surprising. I’m rather certain my father wasn’t the original owner, but it’s quite possible he was only the second. He planned some sort of ‘project’ for this car back then (it was the 70’s), but all worked stopped around 78’ or 79’. Car was found with primer only, and interior was completely removed and stored until car was delivered for restoration. The interior door panels and carpet being quite old – weren't reusable unfortunately. So they were replaced. Complete frame-up including interior, convertible top, seats, carpet, seals, dash, and top cover. Seats are original, but in very good condition (attic stored). My father bought and stored nearly all the needed genuine GM trim for this car, which was used during the restoration project including brand-new (back in the 1970’s) GM chrome bumpers straight from the factory. Not cheap after market! Bumper to bumper, frame-up complete with engine compartment and truck has been fully restored to great detail. Entirely new stainless dual-exhaust has been installed, including a front-disk conversion on the braking system. Power steering, and power brakes were added. Also added was a 1971 (Camaro) fully rebuilt & tuned Chevy 350 cubic inch 8 cylinder engine, new Edelbrock intake, rebuilt Holley carb, Muncie M21 4-speed professionally rebuilt (w/clearcoat) manual transmission, and ceramic coated exhaust headers. Only Royal-Purple engine oil has been used since the break-in point on the engine. Since restoration, the car has never been washed by hose, bucket, or water (anything to avoid unnecessary rust!). Spray bottle and cloth only! Never seen rain. Car is garage kept and has never been driven during poor road conditions (ie: salt, moisture).
