I am selling my 1988 mustang coupe. I've spent a lot of time and money building this car for over $20,000 +. The car is an SCCA track car or will make an excellent drag car. There has been no expense spared on this car and it has the best of everything. This car is fast and handles great. It is completely rebuilt. There is no mileage listed because everything is new.The engine was built by a speed shop and is now a 306 w/ a high lift cam (.575 lift). It was dyno tuned by Coupe performance and puts 300hp to the rear wheels. Not bad for a naturally aspirated engine. Put a bottle or a super charger on it and get a lot more horses out of her. The car has been kept in an inclosed trailer. The car does have catalytic converters on it but they are the high flow cats (BBK) and included in the auction is a set of BBK off road H pipes. So the car is street legal and passes emissions. It has a recent paint job w/ the mach 1 hood. The Optima battery has been relocated to the trunk and has a NHRA certified battery kill switch. The car has an 8pt roll cage (professionally installed) and is SCCA certified. The rear shock towers have been reinforced. The car has been lowered,has an adjustable shocks and UPR cast and camber plates. Below is a list of the items installed and I'll probably miss a thing or two but you'll get the jist of what has been done. I hate to sell this car because I will never recoup the money I put into her but my loss is your gain. I just haven't driven the car and have no time.
