Vehicle Detail

1973 Pontiac Trans Am Big Block 455 numbers matching.. 1 of only 3130 - 1973 automatic big block 455 cars built #s matching 455 block and transmission. Original A/C car, everything is there minus the compressor. This car has the deluxe interior. Original white car with maroon interior. Clear Oklahoma Title, with tags current until July 2011 This is a Project car and will need restored. Car was in a barn since 1990. BODY: Original Rally wheels, shaker hood with shaker scoop. Bodywork has been started, and car has now been primed to protect it. A lot of bodywork has been done; however, it still needs to be completed. Quarter panel have mud in them, okay for a driver, but if restoring I would suggest face quarter replacements, there is rust in the quarters. The body on the car is very solid; floor pans have normal surface rust from carpet, but are solid. Frame rails, shackle hangers, and sub frame all are in very good shape. Trunk pan is in good shape, has about a 5” rust hole at the back by the rear light section. Trunk latch is missing. Fenders look very good, passenger side has minor rust through at the rear lower section. The nose looks good but does have minor cracking due to age. Missing passenger side mirror, passenger side rear wheel flare, and center front lower spoiler. All glass in the car is complete and usable. Rear bumper is there, but will need restored. Rear valance is there but will need fiber glass work, but is complete. INTERIOR: Dash is complete, does have minor cracking. All gauges are complete. Turned aluminum gauge panel is nice, but had a 3/8” hole drilled through for a carburetor choke. Center console is complete minus shifter knob Seats are the deluxe package and are in good shape, but have been recovered at some time. Door panels are complete and have matching upholstery. ENGINE: Original block, numbers matching, never had work done to it, will need rebuilt. Original transmission as per previous owner (I don’t know where to verify this, if you have info please let me know and I will check it out). I have a set of heads that were supposed to be on this car, I can’t verify if they are the correct heads or not, you are welcome to them if you want them. Original Intake Do not have connecting rods or pistons. Have shaker scoop, but do not have lower air breather. Original crank Car had headers put on it, do not have original manifolds (headers are still in the car hooked to the exhaust but are rusted and bent). Power steering pump still hooked up and in car. A/C system still complete minus the compressor. WHEELS: Original rally wheels (complete with 20 year old bias ply tires) Have 3 Pontiac center caps, missing 1. 4 beauty rings, not the best shape, but they’re there. Everything I have for the car is in the pictures. Complete and restored this cars is valued close to 60,000 NADA prices .. http://www.nadaguides.com/default.aspx?LI=1-22-1-5013-0-0-0&l=1&w=22&p=1&f=5014&y=1973&m=1143&d=135&c=11&o=35646~34022~35649&vi=84179&z=74021&da=-1 Vehicle is being sold AS IS with no warranties expressed or implied.
