1983 Volkswagen Rabbitt. I am selling this car for a friend who is the original owner of this car and bought it new in 1983. The car has been sitting since October 2009 and the inspection expired January 2010. It as a manual transmission that is either a 4 or a 5 speed. Car has 99,850 miles on it which is good considering it is 27 years old. Owned by an older woman who bought it new. The reason that it sat is because the owner is no longer able to drive. I was told that it runs but it needs a battery. The owner was told that it was worth 1200 so that is the starting price.
