Awesome Amazing Amazon Green Smoke 81 R100RT in original paint.This is a factory color that was very controversial when it came out and was basically shunned by society to the point where very few sold and most were painted another color so they would sell.The nearly extinct, sublime and ever elusive Amazon Green Smoke remains the most unique and mesmerizing smoked paint scheme to come out of the BMW factory.This paint is all original.It consists of an emerald green metallic fading into a dark jade green metallic with gold pinstripes.The bike is all original except for the reynolds ride off stand,Koni shocks, Luftmeister exhaust shields and a fairly new clearview windshield.The bike comes with a tool kit tire pump and owners manual.The paint is very strong and not faded.There are some small stone chips here and there but it is still stunning. A color you would expect on a 59 Pan with sky high upswept fishtails and gobs of chrome that is just as much at home on BMW's flagship touring model of the time.The Krauser bags are also in very nice shape.This bike runs very well and has decent tires.It was always well maintained by the others that enjoyed it over the years.All electrics work properly and this bike is ready for the road. The factory side stand on this year is pretty shakey and should be replaced with a Brown sidestand. The clock works properly and there is an on off switch for the headlight integrated into the dash panel.Ordinarily the headlight would come on when the key is turned on with this model but this option was installed to save your battery.The complete exhaust system is very nice on this machine.
