Previous owner accidentally checked off the wrong box on the title, this is why its registered as "excess of mechanical limits" This is a 6 digit odometer Listing this online for a friend of mine. I've had the car a few days now and I'm impressed! This car is such a tight ride that I am blown away, if it wasn't for the blind spots I'd give up my Mercedes. First impression is SOLID, people are asking "Is this a Aston Martin or Ferrari?" My neighbors always know I have nice cars around the house, but that is stepping it up a bit :) The car is such a rocket ship to be in, I've never felt a sports car hold me so well around corners and during acceleration. This car is the non turbo, but with the tastefully added modifications done to this 3000gt, it screams. If you aren't experienced with a stick shift, you will spin those BF Goodrich tires right off. First gear is over about as quick as it starts and you find yourself throwing the shifter into second gear. The best part about the driving experience is that you never need to move your wrist, this short shift in this car makes gear changing easier then moving a mouse. That blew me away! The window tint adds so much to this ride, we are talking about privacy and it helps keep the inside cool. I love how they separated the gauges across the dash, it really looks cool at night and adds style to the interior. The Air conditioning vents are placed just right and the radio is in direct access of your shifting hands fingers so it makes for easy adjustments while cruising. I honestly have no idea why they put 4 seats in this car, only a paraplegic could sit behind me (6ft 240lbs) The rear seats are hardly used, maybe even never used (however i did make sure the seat belts buckle and the fold down latches and locks are in tact) First turn of the key this thing fires right up, not even a piston gets to move before this thing is roaring. The motor was a direct order from japan and tuned to perfection. When the motor is running, i hear no ticks taps or vacuum leaks. I get my hands on alot of vehicles and this continues to blow me away. I've started for guests that come to the house cause they are always asking. The exhaust rumble is perfect, the 3.0L 6 cylinder purrrrrrrrrssss!!! I am sure you will share the same excitement when you get into this car. I will be doing a video of this during the daylight tomorrow to show you exactly what I'm talking about :) Please message me with any questions you might have, I intend to work with any serious buyer to help show or inspect the car. Pepboys down the road will do inspections for ebay for $40, thats a great way to get a professional opinion for long distance purchases. I will take the car to the shop you choose. I will also drive the car to whoever purchases it depending on the distance (buyer covers ALL expenses regarding that and my return. I have no doubt that you could drive this car to Alaska, although you might have to get an oil change inbetween since its been 1200 miles since its last service :) You have obviously read the good information about the car... here is the things you might not notice in pictures. 1- The front bumper needs to be repainted and mild body work on the bottom of the front lip (quote was $200 from local shop)2- 8 inch scrape near the gas door (quote for front bumper covered this too)3 - tear on the drivers seat left lumbar(very common on these cars)4 - plastic tray that goes under the carpet in the trunk area is missing5 - cruise control doesn't seem to work6 - climate control center doesn't engage floor or defrost7 - this vehicle is lowered and the tires have wear on the inside. All the tires are more then half tread, but you can feel it when you drive. Those issues are my honest attempt at selling a car, so if those things turn you away you may want to take it for what it is. Thanks for looking :) Here are notes from the owner: "alright so the GT has a pretty long history...I bought it in 02 with no engine, I bought the engine from a japanese importing company and put it in (guaranteed to have between 30 - 50k miles on it) then swapped over the wiring harness and put in a clutch pedal and the rebuilt manual tranny. then I replaced the whole interior, all the brakes, suspension and fuel delivery system. then I got the aftermarket bumper thats on it now and had the whole car painted. all this was done at 168k miles. the good - obviously freshly rebuilt and newer engineACT stage 2 clutch (replaced with new one about 10k miles ago) at the same time i put in a fidanza aluminum light weight flywheel.It has obviously a custom intakethe cat has been replaced with a high flow catsuspension is the ground control coil over system with KYB GR2 shocksbrakes are EBC cross drilled and slotted rotors with carbon composite pads (in the front only)Theres an after market short shifter (not sure what brand) the badA/C system has been worked on several times and I believe no longer leaks but I cant get it to do floor or defrost...cruise control doesn't workthe plastic trays that go in the trunk are non existant lolyou can see the rest of the probs with it (torn seat, front bumper, scratch by the gas tank door etc) "
