For sale is my white 1996 Ford Mustang Cobra. Title is rebuilt. It was wrecked by previous owner from my understanding in the front. I bought it like this and really enjoyed it for several years. Wife is going back to school so I need to get rid of a project. Car has been sitting up for a while while I was building a new engine to turn this car into a drag car though no body modifications have been done in that process. Interior is black leather still in very good condition and to my knowledge has never been smoked in. Car interior will be detailed for winning bidder at no cost. Car does not have an engine installed. The original 4.6 was removed and parted out to help pay for the new engine. Winning bidder will recieve car with everything except an engine ( body, interior, rear end, transmission, exhaust, wheels and tires, etc.) This car would be perfect for someone looking to build a dragster or a mean street/strip car. You could buy a stock 4.6 or any other engine you would like to drop in and have a very nice ride. I do have the newer 4.6 that I was building that can be purchased seperately if desired which is basically a built 2003 cobra engine that I have a little of 6k in but would sell for around 3500. My 1996 cobra has tinted windows 5% tint. Chrome 17 inch cobra R wheels. Ford Racing 3.73 gears professionally installed in the rear. Has a brand new unopened custom fitted car cover from cover craft. This one is the NOAH which was the best one that was offered at the time. Has Flowmaster 40 series exhaust with an H-pipe and MIL eliminators.Also has caster/camber plates installed. transmission has been professionally built and has a hurst shifter. Inside the car has a jvc KDC-510 model cd player, JVC speakers in the front door and kicker's in the back. The car will also come with a set of Mickey Thompson ET Streets mounted on regular mustang rims. Car was originally a nitrous car, but was taken out to run the new engine with a roots style supercharger and can also be purchased seperately. I really hate to get rid of this car but with my wife going back to school it would be nice to get rid of a project and have the extra cash. Car will need a paint job at some point but you could get by with re-painting the front bumper which is chipping pretty bad. The front bumper is a GT bumper obviously from where it was wrecked in the front and the previous owner put what they could get cheap on there and had a poor paint job on the bumper. Other than that the body is straight with no major dents or imperfections although like any other car this age it does have scratches and I'm sure minor dings here and there. To the winning bidder: 50% deposit required within 24 hours of winning with remainder due either at pickup or before delivery. Buyer will be responsible for shipping unless you would like to pay for me to arrange shipping. Prefer paypal payment but will except cash and check. Any checks will require a waiting period to clear which if you are having it shipped would not be a problem since it usually takes a few days to get a truck.
