1965 Mercedes-Benz 220S Sedan Up for auction is 1965 Mercedes-Benz 220S Automatic (VIN # 11101212159712) in need of total restoration. It includes Jensen radio, AC and power windows. I purchased it in 2003 and it was stored in the garage since that time. It was in a running condition, I didn’t drive it since fall 2009 but it started up, as we tried it the other day, it went up and down the hill with ought any problems. It is some minor dents on the passenger side along the back and front doors, some minor dents on the front and back. Front passenger window has some scratches as you can see on the picture. Car has some rust; trunk has holes on the left side. In 2009 battery and spark plugs were replaced to make engine run, since car wasn’t driven for a very long period of time. Once engine was running my mechanic performed carburetor adjustment. He recommended to rebuilt carburetor or to perform Weber conversion. Car would need a new alternator since it doesn’t hold the charge. I purchased this Mercedes with intention to restore from the ground up, but I just don’t have enough time to do it, no place to store it no longer, or give this car an attention it deserves, so I need to find her a good home. Title is clear and ready to be transferred immediately. I gladly answer any questions you might have or take any additional pictures.
