1987 Supra. 7M motor 3.0 liter twin Cam! 150k on this engine was replaced once! Lots of new parts, cold air intake filter and adapter($30) (reusable filter by the way), performance catback exhaust($220). Also just had tune up. New sparkplugs ($20), new sparkplug wires ($45), new distributor cap and rotor ($30), new filter, new power steering belt ($15), new EGR valve ($110), New throttle body gasket ($20), also took off throttle body myself and did an awesome cleaning! New battery was installed ($104), new front brake pads ($20), new hood lift supports ($80). ( I hate it when the hood doesn’t stay up!) Also installed New rear hatch supports as well! I also bought a new dash cover, because the dash is really cracked so I wanted to cover it up. ($30) So basically that’s just to name a few things I did to the car. I spent over $1000 to get her to be a really reliable car. I hate driving a car that no one did basic maintenance to, so I really went thru it! Car has clean title and is not a salvage! Also the registration is current so no back fees, and it just passed SMOG a little over a month ago. Car starts right up and runs just fine. Does not leak any fluids or oil. Doesn’t appear to burn oil. Car rides very smooth so suspension is still good. Has sport electronic adjustable suspension. Power windows and seats work fine. Everything in the interior seems to work. The interior needs to be redone at some point, because seats are ripped, however the carpet is fine. So for you supra enthusiasts that’s something you can do later down the road piece by piece I guess. Paint will have to be eventually done. However the body is in great shape, no rust and its very straight! All panels on this car are original supra factory panels no cheap aftermarket replacements! Also has all plastic components under front airdam. A lot of older cars are missing all the fairing and plastic underskirts due to jack asses taking them off. I know they are all there because I had to put them back on from a pile of parts, nuts, and bolts. I don’t claim that this car in perfect! However it is very complete and a great start for any supra lover. This car can be used as a daily driver as soon as you buy it! Its very reliable and has lots of life in it. I know because I really put this car together and took care of it. I bought it from a friend in was parked in a pile of weeds he couldn’t fix it. Mainly because he didn’t know it had a bad EGR valve. But I went thru and really tuned it up and gave her a good once over. Like I said it passed smog just fine and I have all the paper work. Keep in mind California has some of the strictest emission standards. Car does not overheat or has been overheated! Runs cool. This car just needs a good home, someone willing to put some TLC into her and bring her back to being an awesome supra. I would really like to sell the car to someone who is going to put money into her and continue to take care of this car. Good luck I will miss this car thanks.
