For sale is a 1979 Chevy Scottsdale 3/4 ton 2 wheel drive pickup truck, Truck is in average condition for the age, Rusted in the normal chevy spots, Cab corners, fender wells, etc. Truck is basically a work truck and nothing more, not many options. The truck runs and drives fine but does need shocks put on. It is powered by a 350 engine, two barrel carb and three speed transmission, I am the second owner of this truck, my neighbor who lives 1 mile from me was going to send this truck to the local scrap yard after sitting in his barn for 6 years but i thought i was to nice to destroy, i have owned it for 2 years, The reason for a salvage title is i have never transfered it two my name. I have the title he signed off on, If it sets for a while you will have to pump the gas pedal a couple off times to get it started, but once it is started it won't take a 1/4 turn and it will be running, Truck only has 91000 miles on it, Some of the other issues with this truck i want to mention is the windshield has a crack across the top, seat needs a cover and the radio doesn't work, After the engine gets warmed up and you shut if off for a while and restart it, it will puff a little blue cloud, but i have never had to add any oil to the engine, The truck if fairly straight and the hood is almost perfect, Would make a good restoring project or parts truck, I am just needing to get it out of my way know but still don't want to see it go to a scrap yard, If you have any other questions or need more pics let me know, If you would like to hear it run i can take a video of it and e-mail it to you, Truck does not leave my address until i have cleared payment, Vehicle can be left at my address for a while but no more than 3 months, If you need more time contact me before you bid, If not picked up after 3 months i will consider it abandoned and will be resold with no refund, I am located in south central Illinois PLEASE CHECK MY OTHER ITEMS.
