Up for sale is my 1994 Toyota Work Truck This truck is running good mechanically, but cosmetically is so so - That is why it would be great for work or daily transportation. If you wanted a show vehicle, it is possible but would require some body work and a complete paint job. In lieu of this, the reserve on the truck is set reasonable to make the sale. I have not done much to the truck while I have owned it because it worked fine for my needs. All the details are below. Legal Paperwork: Title wise it is a clean CA title in our name. Titled commercial, You can legally use this truck for any business without problems by the DMV. The previous owners were a painting company. I have non-op on the title status now, which means that instead of registering I paid to have the tags held because I am not using the truck on the road. It was used around my property for errands (big property). When you go to register it, there will not be any back fees, only the new registration in your name. All tags were paid up to date. The good: The previous owner told me that the engine was replaced with a low mile engine at one point. My mechanic has told me it looks lie the engine was changed, so that may be true. I had my mechanic do a basic tune up on it less than 200 miles ago as preventative maintenance. New plugs, wires, cap rotor, oil, etc. Power is all there, and it doesn't bog down even while carrying a load so It seems pretty good. I bought it in Palmdale, CA than drove it to Los Angeles to pick up a load of lumber (90 miles), than drove it to my place in Hesperia (100 miles) with the A/C on the whole time. That is also a climb of 4000 feet into the mountains carrying a stack of lumber cab high. I feel the truck is reliable so far and should serve someone well. As stated, the A/C works great! Transmission shifts smooth and the clutch is good. The tires are matched and relatively new. The wheels are American Racing Chromes. The seat is in good codition with only one rip in the driver side bottom. The dash top has no cracks in it. Doors and windows open and close correctly. The tailgate has a new handle installed. The rear exhaust was replaced. The bad: The body looks good from far, but close up you can tell it isn't perfect. The truck was originally black (which I would prefer) but the previous owner repainted it unprofessionally. I'm not sure what kind of paint- It does the job, but that's it. Also the front grille area looks like they hit something and pulled it back out because the core support looks like it was put back into place. The hood has a dent on top. Everything works up there, including the hood release but you can notice it when you open the hood that it was fixed. I am kind of picky so I would fix all of that when I repainted the truck- but that is your call, if you are using only for work, than no problem.In the interior the previous owner got some white paint on the inside door panel. The CD player radio works but doesn't play cd's. The carpet could use refreshed/replaced. Some of the little plastic adjustable vents in the dash are cracked. One of the doors is missing the rubber that goes around the window. The extra's: It comes with a white steel tool box for the back I will throw in for free, I don't have the keys but it has auxillary locking areas for you to use padlocks. It also has a tube bumper on the back with a hitch receiver. I was going to remove it, but I will leave it and you can decide if you want to keep it.
