Vehicle Detail

1963 Chevy Impala 4 door hardtop with no posts. This car would make a great project car, the body is in pretty good shape for it's age. It looks like someone took paint stripper to remove the paint and never sanded the rest down to get it in primer. The quarters are very solid, I can only see very small rust showing, nothing that should be to hard to fix. The floors need to be replaced which is common for cars this old, and I've only seen one spot in the trunk that would need patched. The drivers door has a corner cut out from where it was rusting and someone was trying to fix it, there is a patch panel they made to go over it or you could find another door. The hood has rust along the front edge which seems to be a common area for these cars and the passenger fender is starting to rust through behind the wheel which also seems to be a common spot. The drivers fender would probably need replaced, unless your pretty good with body work, it looks like someone hit it with something. Most of the trim inside and out seems to be there for the car. This car did have hydraulics on it and still has the battery rack in the trunk and the cylinders but everything else is gone. I've talked to a few people that knew the guy that put the hydraulics on the car and they told me that he did wrap the frame. It wouldn't be hard to take all the hydraulic stuff off and return the car to it's original suspension. I do still have the inner fender wells for the front. The wire wheels are Roadster Wheels brand and are knockoffs, not bolt on. They are different from normal knockoffs because they have a cap that screws on to hold them on then can be locked, then a cap that covers the lock. I have never seen this type of wheel before and others I have asked have told me they are hard to find and somewhat rare now. I need to sale this car since I don't have the time or money to put in it right now and I don't want to see it sit and rust away when someone could be fixing it up. The car does not have a motor or transmission. I do have a clear title and I've tried to describe the car the best I can but if you have any questions, email me and I'll try to answer your questions or get pictures of anything else you want to see.
