Vehicle Detail
69 Camaro Coupe Project Car started life as a six cylinder and auto on column. The vin and trim tag reflect this. I've had this car for 5 years as a project and have put a lot of time and effort in it. I will try to describe it the best I can, but encourage you to come and look. E-mail me and we can set up a time. The engine it has in it is a 383. 4 bolt main with Scat stroker kit, Thumper cam and lifters ,Vortech heads (upgraded with beehive springs for more lift ) roller rockers, HEI distributor, double pumper 650 holley carb and headers. One wire alternator, high volume water pump, and also a new power steering pump and brackets. The power steering pump is not installed but the winning bidder gets it. The engine starts and runs , but needs final tune. The transmission is a 350 th automatic , it has a B and M shift kit installed and new filter and fluid, 10 bolt non posi rearend. It is installed but not completely hooked up. The interior is pretty nice with cherrywood dash inserts, horseshoe shifter , new headliner and carpet, door panels and 140 mph speedo. It needs seatbelts and a console. I have a set of seatbelts but the buckles are rusted so I did not install them. (The one picture makes the headrest look pink but the interior is red and so is the headrest.) The body has a new cowl hood , decklid, and the floorpans, rockers, quarters, framerails , trunk pan and tailpanel have been replaced sometime during the cars life. the doors and front fenders have been patched with new metal. The paint looks good for a dailey driver but is not show quality. The frame has bolt on subframe connectors and new body bushings. There are SS emblems on the car but it is not a SS. This is a decent car with many new parts that need some detailing to show them off. The parts I know it needs is a wiper motor, console and maybe some new seatbelts. E-mail me if you would like to come look so we can arrange a time. The car has to be paid for before it and the title leaves. If paying by check, cashiers, personal, or any other kind , it will have to clear my bank before the car leaves. Don't show up with a trailer and a check and think you can drive off with the car and the title, that won't happen. All sales are final. $500 non refundable deposit within 48 hours of auction end.On Jul-31-10 at 08:55:59 PDT, seller added the following information: To answers some questions on the car, the car has new dual exhaust, the brakes are drum/drum, they have been gone thru, new shoes hardware and wheel cylinders, the gas tank , brake lines, gas lines are new. the body bushings are new energy suspension, the front end has been rebuilt but still needs aligned. The radiator is new. The wiring has been gone thru and everything works. When I say new I mean they were installed new but may now have overspray or need cleaned up from sitting in my garage. To get it on the road , the shifter cable needs adjusted and modular valve hooked up to vacuum. Needs a wiper motor, I have the arms and new blades, seat belts, I have some old, and the chrome needs installed around the front and back windhield. The old chrome has dings and the back glass has some scratches. If you are interested I encourage you to come look or I can send you pictures of what you want to see. ThanksOn Aug-01-10 at 14:24:36 PDT, seller added the following information: People keep asking me to call them about the car. I don't have the time to call everyone. I will only call actual bidders. If you heve questions before you bid e-mail me . Once again you can always come and look or I can send you pictures. On Aug-02-10 at 16:57:07 PDT, seller added the following information: Added pictures of how the quarters and body looked when car was stripped to metal. Also a couple of pictures of the one piece trunk pan that was installed. I am also installing the power steering pump and will inlude a picture of it. Should be back up and running by Thursday. On Aug-02-10 at 17:22:32 PDT, seller added the following information: Remember this is a project that needs finishing but is real close to being complete. I have 100 % feedback and intend to keep it that way.
