Great combination of good looks with glossy black paint and the reliability of the 7.3 diesel along with the "row your own" 6 speed tranny. Bought from private seller who babied it and never even had a hitch in the bed. Put it through the shop with new shocks and fluid service including top end of motor so injectors get fresh oil. Drives perfect with no leaks, shakes, smoke or smells. Clutch must be recent because it engages as it should with absolutely no chatter and tranny snicks through all gears with no clunking or hesitation. Loafs along in 6th gear and has lots of torque in low gear along with 4.10 gears. Brakes and tires are 85%. Undercarriage is as nice as the rest. Must have been frequently rinsed and undercoating will keep it nice for years to come. Black paint is very decent. Only imperfections of note are on the roof where you can see in the pictures a couple small dents and scratches. Since they are up high you can't see them from the ground. Minor marks on the fender flares. 4x4 hubs engage with easy turn by fingers. Trailer brake included for hauling heavy loads. Seats are firm and straight with no stains or burn marks. Every switch, button and function works as it should. One mirror wasn't working in one direction so I replaced the whole thing. I like to have everything working properly. If it doesn't I fix it. There was a persistant high speed vibration that rebalancing the wheels wouldn't fix. So I had the driveline rebalanced and the foolish "harmonic damper" removed and all the u joints replaced. Drives mint now. In an experiment to reduce back pressure and increase mpg's, the muffler and tailpipe was disconnected and removed behind the cab. Doesn't sound any louder to me but the stock system is included and will reinstall if you prefer. Recent State inspection sticker awarded with no issues. Truck is ready to roll anywhere. With the economy tight folks are looking for good value for their money. To me this represents the best since these diesels are known to go many hundreds of thousands of miles and the tranny should too.
