Up for Auction is a 1999 Century Class Freightliner. This truck had a complete rebuild approximatley 200,000 miles ago. We purchased the truck earlier this year and put in on the road and ran it for 3 months. It blew up a week ago. THE MOTOR IS BLOWN. THREW A ROD OUT THE DRIVER SIDE. CAME OUT THROUGH THE BLOCK. ******Be advised the engine is blown up!!!******* There are TONS of expensive parts on the truck that are in good shape. The truck was getting 7.0 MPG while pulling flatbed freight. The engine is a 500 Detroit and there is a 10 speed transmission in the truck. I am thinking its a Rockwell Tranny. It has the cruise control settings on the head of the shifter. The inside is chromed out somewhat and the cabinates are in nice shape. The clutch return spring was getting bad and was the next repair on this truck until it blew up. I replaced the drivers side Electric Motor/switch/and exprss down box in the door. the window worked fine until 2 days later now dont move at all. (Thinking a connection and not investigating) I can take more pictures of the engine etc... and email them. The Turbo - Altenator - Starter Air Conditioner etc.... are all very very clean looking as they aren't that old. Basically the underneath of the hood on this truck was kept spotless or close to it. When I towed her in, she was towed backwards and the drivers side fin ripped loose. So there is damage there. THE SIDE BOXES GO WITH THE TRUCKS BUT THE HEADACHE RACK DOES NOT. ******** THE HEADACHE RACK DOES NOT GO WITH THE TRUCK********* THE ALUMINUM WHEELS DO NOT GO WITH THE TRUCK EITHER. WE WILL PUT TWO STEERS ON STEEL WHEELS AND FOUR DRIVES ON STEEL WHEELS SO THIS VEHICLE CAN BE TOWED. IF YOUR WITHIN 150 MILES OF US AT CLOSE OF AUCTION WE CAN TOW FOR A FEE. OTHERWISE YOU ARE INCHARGE OF REMOVAL TOWING FEES.
