We are always getting inquires from folks looking for inexpensive pickup trucks. Here is one of those affordable pickups...a 2003 Ford F150 2 wheel drive extra cab with 106,000 miles.
This 1 owner truck is finished in Oxford White with Graphite lower accents. The exterior is very clean with no body damage or rust holes. There is no mismatched paint and a vinyl liner protects the 8' (long) bed. This is an extended cab model with 2 rear access doors, a very convenient feature for loading cargo or passengers. We have fully detailed this truck and it stands tall and presents well.
The cabin is Graphite cloth and in good condition. The driver's cushion was torn and was sewn up (not a very good sewing job!), but the remainer of the upholstery is in nice shape. It features power window/locks, cruise control, CD player and ice cold air conditioning. All the accessories are in working order.
The power for this full size pickup is provided by Ford's respected 4.6 V8 backed up by an automatic overdrive transmission. The engine starts easily with no unusual noises or smoke. The transmission shifts smoothly through all the gears, no surprises here.
All four tires are General Grabber white lettered radials evenly worn to 8/32". They are mounted upon the factory alloy rims that are in very good condition.
We sent this F-150 through our shop for our customary safety check and service. Our technician found the power steering pump to have a "whine". He performed a fluid flush and the problem is better, but not completely gone. A power steering pump replacement may be in the near future. We also noticed the odometer display sometimes goes "dark". This seems to be a common issues with Ford trucks, there are internet postings with lots of info about this problem. We stand behind the posted odometer reading as accurate. We did change the oil/filter and check and top off all fluids. There were no other problems discovered by our tech.
We have all the manuals and 2 keys with remotes.
The Carfax report is clean with no collision history. We do not subscribe to other history reporting agencies so we base our info on the accuracy of Carfax.
