I bought the car as a driver years ago. drove it as a daily driver, but I decided to take it to a body shop to have it completely restored. Wanted all new metal. Ordered floors, fender, trunk, took the 340 out, was going to a big block 383. Gave a highway patrol/body shop $5000.00 for labor. Kept it two years and gave it back like this. this was a father and son shop. They spot welded the floors, trunk, welded the fender, put added filler on top of the fender driver's side. It would take less than a week to complete the body. You would have a great body. I have orginal parts for the car. seats, center console, bumpers, glass, wiring, door panels, mirrors, most officers, are very great people, we need these people, but there are bad apples in every profession. They took the windshield and broke the grill in half when I took the car. I have a 383 motor brand new in plastic for $3500; a 440 brand new in plastic, $3500 , and the block 340 for $600- your choice if you buy the car.
