Vehicle Detail

Hi, I'm selling my dad's beautiful Mustang. He purchased it in 1967. During the 90's he began fixing it up. Rust was never an issue. The 289 engine was rebuilt, front seats reupholstered, new headliner, re-chromed bumpers, new exhaust system, new carburetor and gas tank. Since then, car was hardly driven, just around town, couple days a week. Because of this, the paint is near perfect! Very shiny! Body is in excellent condition! No rust! Also, no dents or dings! Under car, just light surface rust, nothing serious. All original interior parts, not replaced, are faded or discolored and worn, but overall, not so bad. The worst problem is the split in the rear seat. The center console is cracked in several places. The console interior light lens is missing. There's a hole in the carpet in front of the drivers seat. The radio does not work. The front grill has cutouts where fog lights use to be. The engine runs great. It does not overheat, leak, smoke or knock. The automatic transmission leaks a little, but runs fine. Rearend, brakes, steering and gauges all work fine. The rear springs seem to be sagging, giving car a slight nose up stance. Tires are very good, rims OK. I have the original hub caps and wheels, these are included. I also have the console door, it goes where speaker is now. There are a few other non original items, a horn button mounted on the side of console, this is because steering wheel horn only works intermittently. A center mounted brake light, not original but practical. A wired light with a magnet base, also practical. A small red light to indicate when fog lights are on, this was disconnected. I also have covers for the dash and rear deck. TERMS OF SALE This vehicle is being sold as is with no warranty.
