Remember the red Ridler award winning Rambler 2 door wagon with the Ferrarri drive line? Well...this aint it. But it could be. This is a 1959 Rambler 2 door wagon just like that one...sort of. The body is pretty straight and pretty darn rust free for a 52 year old car.The running gear is intact but the engine is junk.Floors are real good,as is the tail gate and the rockers are pretty good too.The grille and headlight rings are in the car and in good condition save for a small crack in the grille upper chrome surround.. I won't bore you with my plans but if you buy this piece of American Motors history you could own a ride no one else in your neighborhood has. How about a small block ,automatic with air ride? What a sleeper. As I bought this car ten years ago for parts I will be selling it with a good New Mexico bill of sale.The engine was junk when I got it and it was sold to me as a scrap metal body.
