This is a rock hard Nissan Maxima that belongs to my dad. He has been the only owner.He bought the car in 1994 from the dealer lot when his previous Maxima was stolen. He always thought this was going to be the last time he was buying a car so he really kept up with all the scheduled maintenances of the car. The car was ALWAYS but ALWAYS serviced at Nissan Factory Shop in Brooklyn Kings Plaza. He always changed the oil every three months regardless of the mileage. The car can be driven cross country today! It runs like a charm. It is a very strong car with 3 liter V6 engine and it works perfect. AC is ice cold. Interior is 9 on a scale of 10. There are no tears, rips, stains, or anything. The dashboard has no cracks or discolorations. Always a non smoker's car.The outside has dents, dings, scratches from being parked on the street in NYC and the bumpers have paint peeled and cracked in some places because of people touching the bumpers as they pull in and out of parking spots on the street. No rust whatsoever anywhere. The paint shines like new. Pictures do not do the justice to the car. Again, it shines like new but has all the nyc dings everywhere.My dad invested so much money to the car-to the point that I would argue with him not to spend so much. Anytime he heard a click, he would go and have the car serviced. He had Nissan put in a BRAND NEW transmission at 80K miles! Everything but everything works fine with the exception of a couple of minor things listed below. History report should show a couple of fender bender accidents which were always repaired at the dealer, not at some funny store. He has bumper to bumper coverage on the car even to this day! Always adult driven, never abused, never revved up like a race horse, this car will last you a long time. My dad is 89 years old. His car is very comfortable and sits an a matching set of Dunlop Tires that are 50K's. He has at least %65 thread on them. The transmission has a switch which allows you to choose from POWER to NORMAL to COMFORT modes. The car was marketed as a 4DSC ( four door sports car) in 1994 :) It really moves when you floor it. THIS CAR IS REALLY GREAT! I will deliver up to 50 Miles for free from zip code 10025. I can not ship, but will assist shipping company if it comes to that. What does not work with this car? Just a couple of minor things but I have to disclose them: 1.The power lock of the right door does not always pop up from the inside when opened with the remote control. It pops but not high enough. I did not have the time to open the door and snap it into place. 2.The remote trunk opener is tight and needs adjustment, but the trunk opens if you press the button a couple of times instead of once, so it never really bothered us. 3.The hood does not stay up because the gas must have leaked from the suspension mechanism but we have a rod that we use to prop it open. 4.The ashtray is missing, the guys at the car wash was lost it years ago and we never replaced it because no one really needed it. AND THAT IS ALL THAT IS WRONG! All lights, windows, power steering, gears, fans , engine, motors, seat adjustments etc etc work great. You can test it here in nyc by scheduling a time. Bid with confidence, this is a great car. We are really sorry to let it go! So, why are we selling? Because we now have a new Infiniti for dad! If you know anything about parking in NYC, you know you can't have two cars :) So, this one must go. This will be a very nice car for a family for the years to come with comfort, safety and power and no headaches. It always passed NY inspection with flying colors.
