Up for auction is a 1988 Suzuki Samurai. I have owned this vehicle for about two years now and I have really enjoyed it. I mostly use it to take camping trips to the mountains with my son. I would like to keep it but I just purchased a new sports car and really dont have the room in the garage to keep it like I want to. When I purchased the vehicle it was in great mechanical condition and 100% rust free. I performed a complete tune up on it which includes - plugs, wires, rotor cap and button, air and fuel filter, greased all fittings, and I changed all the fluids including front and rear axles, transmission, and transfer case. This vehicle is mechanically sound and would not hesitate to drive it over long road trips. I restored the entire interior with all new upholstery, door panels, rear panels, tailgate etc... I intalled a new pioneer cd player with pioneer speakers and had the floor covered with a rubberized coating. As far as the exterior of the vehicle it still has it original paint. Not to bad of shape but the clear coat is fading on it. I never really planned on painting it. I wanted a small lift to keep the center of gravity low so I installed an old man emu 2 1/2 inch lift that consist of four new leaf springs. I also installed new shocks at the time. The wheels and tires are new. The wheels are steel 15" x 7" from summit racing. The tires are new mud tires and have less than 500 miles on them and are 235x75x15 ( 29 inches tall). The spare tire is stock rim and stock size tire. I installed a new set of Piaa 510 atp off road lights. The top is a newer bestop with no cuts or tears of any kind and does not leak at all. I believe I have described this vehicle to the best of my ability. I am sure the new owner will be greatly satisfied with it.
