1955 chevy chassis that has been shortened in the 1960's to accomodate a 1960 volkswagen beetle body. The car was run on the street and at the race track until 1982. It's actually a well engineered little car. It's got a 400 inch V8 with a turbo 400 transmission and a 3500 rpm shift kit, 4.11 gears and an extra set of 4.56 gears. The car has slicks on it and another set of slicks come with it. The engine still runs but was removed to get new gaskets because it was smoking. The transmission needs new seals too. This is a cool old vintage drag car with a clear title and a hoot to drive. The shag carpet in it is original to the build and probably still has a good coat of THC in it from the brainstorming process during the build. You won't build one this cheap. IT'S THE REAL DEAL from the 1960's and has a clear title. Some minor work will get you back on the road putting the smack down on most anything else.
