The steering is precise and the these cars are extremely maneuverable. Park it anywhere! We have observed over 30 Miles per gallon over the 6,000 miles we have driven the Rabbit. If you were to drive this car and a new one there would be virtually no difference. Ok now you're saying "That's nice but WHY!? is it salvaged. Right? The VW was sold NEW in August of 2009, driven 5,600 miles in the first month and change and that's when it was hit in the driver's door by another motorist that wanted the lane our car was in. The damage was isolated to the door for the most part but the insured raised such a fuss over their "NEW" car they replaced it. Truthfully had it been the insured's fault the car would have been fixed and the story would have been over. There was NO airbag deployment. Even the original door panel is on the car and is mint. The door that was used was in color and mint so this car has had very little in the way of paintwork. If you're looking for a commuter that looks and drives like a basically new car look no further. We have driven this car 6,000 trouble free miles and we take pride in our vehicles.
