Vehicle Detail
'88 Suzuki Samurai Has a '92-'96 VW diesel engine with 68,000 miles. Electronic Tach Converter (to make the original tach work) New water pump New timing belt New tensioned Acme underdrive pulleys (2 groove for AC) Acme adapter kit Rebuilt the turbo with a "G-Pop Shop" turbo kit, they are very complete. New VW radiator Dual Acme fans with two speed control New starter high torque gear down Mitsubishi New master cylinder (just because I wanted to) Spacers on the front and rear differentials Four inch lift kit spring over New longer shocks New steering stabilizer Cleaned the heater core!!!!! (if you ever cleaned one, you know how hard it is, the whole dash has to come out!!) While the engine was out I put undercoat on the whole engine compartment before it went back in. Bucket seats are out of a Nissan Trail tough mud flairs, 4.5" Has boost gauge, EGT gauge and oil pressure gauge. When it's cold, has 80-90psi oil pressure. Has halo headlights with blue xenon bulbs. The front side marker lights, turn signal and running lights are all converted to LED and I have most of the stuff for the rear. Absolutely the cleanest Samurai I've ever seen. Bought out of North Carolina and drove it home to Illinois. Never driven in the winter salt. You will find zero rust. 100% solid car. I have the AC stuff, all you need is the brackets from Acme (Jeff at Acme is by far the most knowledgable guy on these projects) Drove it a couple days on the old tires and rims. Then bought these really cool rims (Moto-Metal 909's with Nitto Grappler tires) and tires and they have never met the street (still have the nipples on;-) The rear seat is in great shape. The whole interior is really nice and all works. The dash is not sunfaded or cracked. Car is for sale locally as well and may end this auction.
