Up for auction is a 1975 Pontiac Grand Prix SJ that was just donated to a charitable foundation and is being sold with NO RESERVE.

The Pontiac Grand Prix was towed into our facility and we have not attempted to start it. The donor indicated that it will need all new fluids before attempting to start. Overall the body looks pretty decent, although there is a dent in the driver’s side rear, and the rear bumper will need replacing or straightening along with repairing the rear tail-light extension. There does appear to be some minor rust issues on the rear trunk panel and the rear landau top appears to have some bubbling under it, but very minor.
The interior of the car looks original and is showing wear from sitting for many years. The dash has cracks and the front seats are separating as well (see photos). The undercarriage of the car looks fairly solid other than some surface rust.
The donor told us the car ran and drove when parked, but we’ve made no attempt to start it. Everything appears to be there and there does not appear to be any missing items under the hood.
The wheels appear to be the original style steel wheels, with beauty rings (some of them are laying in the trunk).
The SJ model is an extremely rare car and very sought after. This is a great restoration project and has lots of potential.

The seller shall not be responsible for the correct description, authenticity, genuineness, or defects herein, and makes no warranty in connection therewith. No allowance or set aside will be made on account of any incorrectness, imperfection, defect or damage. Any descriptions or representations are for identification purposes only and are not to be construed as a warranty of any type. It is the responsibility of the buyer to have thoroughly inspected the vehicle, and to have satisfied himself or herself as to the condition and value and to bid based upon that judgement solely. The seller shall and will make every reasonable effort to disclose any known defects associated with this vehicle at the buyer's request prior to the close of sale. Seller assumes no responsibility for any repairs regardless of any oral statements about the vehicle.
INFORMATION CONCERNING SMOG CERTIFICATION:
If you are a California Resident intending to register this vehicle in the State of California, AND not a Dealer, then we will provide you with either a “certificate of compliance” or “certificate of non-compliance” along with the sale. There will be an additional $50.00 fee added to your total amount if providing you with either of these. Since many of our buyers are from out of state, we will need email notification from you at least one business day prior to pickup to facilitate the test. We make no guarantees as to the vehicle passing or failing an emission test.
The California Vehicle Code (CVC) 24007 (b) (2) issued in accordance with section 44015 of the Health and Safety Code, states that buyers can be presented with a certificate of compliance or a certificate of non-compliance (that has been issued within 90 days) before or at the time of sale. This will allow buyers to pay the registration fees and tax then transfer the car into their name at the DMV and provides them with 90 days of temporary registration from the time the certificate of non-compliance was issued for the vehicle, thus allowing the buyer time to repair the vehicle and bring it into smog conformity.
INFORMATION CONCERNING VEHICLE TITLE:
If this vehicle has a California Application for Duplicate Title, which means there is no title in our possession and one must be applied for. (In some cases people that donate their vehicles may have misplaced their title and could not locate it. In this situation the California DMV requires tthe registered owner to fill our a California Application for Duplicate Title Form, which will replace the oringal misplaced title and can be used to transfer ownership as well.– if you are bidding from out of State or outside the U.S. Please be aware that you may need to first title/register in California in order to title or export to your state/country of residence. This Paperwork is transferable through the CA DMV.
For vehicles sold to California Residents, you will be requried to pay the sales tax on the winning bid amount in your county of residents to the DMV at time of registering the vehicle. You will also be required to pay the registration transfer fees and any back due registration fees what ever they may be. WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND THAT YOU CONTACT US AND OBTAIN THE LICENSE PLATE NUMBER ALONG WITH THE VIN OF THE VEHICLE YOU ARE BIDDING ON, SO YOU CAN CALL THE DMV AND GET THE EXACT AMOUNT YOU WILL BE REQUIRED TO PAY IF YOU WIN THE VEHICLE. OUT OF STATE BUYERS WILL NOT HAVE TO PAY SALES TAX IN CALIFORNIA AS LONG AS THE VEHICLE LEAVES OUR FACILITY ON A FLAT BED.

Winning bidders must contact our office within 24 hours after auction end and will be required to pay in full within 3 business days after auction end. THERE IS A $50.00 ADMINISTRATION FEE THAT WILL BE ADDED TO THE FINAL PRICE FOR ALL VEHICLES. FULL PAYMENT IS DUE WITHIN THREE DAYS OF THE END OF AUCTION.

INFORMATION CONCERNING PICK-UP OF VEHICLE:
Pickup must occur within THREE (3) days of the end of the auction, unless other arrangements are made with us. There will be a storage fee of $20.00 per day for any vehicle left on our premises after this time.
The winning bidder is responsible for picking the vehicle up at the Just Donated Inc. storage yard in the city of Orange, CA (off the 57 Freeway). The Address is 551 N Batavia St. Yard “F” Orange, Ca 92868.
