EXCELLENT Condition 1983 MBZ 300CD Turbo-Diesel Coupe w/200k miles, finished in blue with tan (palomino color MB Tex) interior. Purchased from first owner in Oct 1996 and shipped to Europe, car was brought back by me and put into professional storage since 2005. Exterior is beautiful MBZ blue (w/only very slight roadwear/chips), and in fact I've always gotten complements and numerous written offers left on the windshield of this stunning car! Interior is quite clean and in fine shape, esp. for a 27 year-old car! Original decorative wood all intact, and dash looks amazingly new and is crack-free. All instrumentation and power accessories (windows, sun roof) work quite well, and even has original Becker digital stereo/cassette installed. Very rare second fuel tank gives car almost 1000 miles between fill-ups and engine is still delivering some 28 mpg! Highly reliable. this car would suit either the daily driver or a collector, as it is equally comfortable around town or cruising on the highway. Only recommendation would be to change out all fluids and battery upon purchase due to storage time. This car has been EXCELLENT, and DESERVES A GREAT HOME. The car due to it's age is to be sold "as is" without any warranty, but there are NO known issues with it. Only reason for selling is that this beautiful car DESERVES to be driven, and I am on travel far too much to make use of this absolutely TERRIFIC vehicle! I'll be sad to see it go!
