This car is one of those all original can't believe how nice it is deals. All original no modifications except of course the tires and battery have been replaced over the years. Original spare tire in trunk and metal owners information tag under the hood. Car was bought at a Chrysler dealership in Lebanon PA and has never left the city. I believe I am the 3rd or 4th owner. I put in a new alternator. In the trunk I have included a rebuilt water pump and power steering pump just in case in the future it might be needed. The answer is NO, the car does not need those items but since they are special order, I got them just in case. The car is actually in excellent working condition. Is it parade ready? yes..........is it museum quality perfect?no. The undercarriage is spotless with no visible rust, but their is a small spot on the rear bumper. The front bench seat does have a tear and the windlace around doors is showing wear. It runs like a top. Unbelievable really how nice that big old 383 big block chrysler purrs. Stops on a dime, kind of hard to get use to at first how responsive the brakes are. Power steering as well. This is a very large car with beautiful lines and very cool fender skirts in the back. This car was unmolested so far but it is up to the buyer to do what they want with it. Been sitting a while so might need to charge battery but will pass inspection on the spot. This is a very very good running and looking automobile. Just looking into getting that new Harley. You WILL be impressed. Its not perfect, but is probably the best looking Newport you'll ever be able to buy at any auction that hasn't been messed with.
