Yes, I am relisting my wagon one last time...this time at no reserve!! I finally found a creidble buyer for another car so there is hope for credibility out there yet. Please send me all of the questions that you have in advance of bidding and you are welcome to come and see the car any time. If you are one of those wanna be lookers with a big story and no money or credibility, please do not waste your time or mine on a big effort to work on a deal. I am a nice guy and like talking cars as much as the next person but my patience is running thin on the growing lack of credibility and integrity out there. For Auction is this amazing Chevelle 300 Custom Wagon with a rare L79 327/350HP engine (from a 1965 Chevelle) matched with a Factory Muncie 4 Speed Transmission and Hurst competition shifter. This wagon also has rare factory Air Conditioning (Blows Cold) and is in great condition all around. It is restored in its original Ermine White exterior with Medium Red interior. This wagon is a true sleeper!!! It has body matching rally wheels with performance tires and original dog dish caps. It also has dual performance exhaust. This car needs nothing and you could drive it accross the country with no problem. Put the all of your family or friends in it and enjoy cruising or showing it anywhere. 12 Bolt Rear and rare factory aluminum rear spoiler are additional performance features of this amazing wagon. Chevelle 300 Deluxe 4-door Wagon - model 134356 - 8 cylinder - 5,028 produced. A new body graced 1966 Chevelles, with forward thrusting front fenders, new body contour lines, wider-appearing anodized aluminum grille and new rear body treatment. These Chevelle 300 models were relatively lacking in ornamentation with series rear fender emblems, bright ventipane frames, windshield and rear window moldings, outside rearview mirror, four headlamps with anodized aluminum bezels, grille outline moldings, front bumper mounted park/turn lights, small hubcaps, single-unit rear lights (with bright bezels) and built-in back-up lights. 1965 L79 Production & History In 1965 the hot hydraulic cam, L79 327 engine first appeared in the Corvette and the Chevelle. For the record, the L76, 365hp 327 outsold the 350hp L79 in the Corvette, 5011 to 4716. There were also 771 1965 Corvettes with the L84, 375hp fuel-injected 327. (It was cancelled in February 1965 when the Mark IV 396 engine was introduced.) Total L79 Chevelle and El Camino sales were 6,021. The 1965-1968 L79 327 (rated at 350 hp) was for many the "Best Overall Chevy Small-Block of the '60s." It has a 585 Holley four-barrel carb (also rated at 600 cfm), and it had the first-ever high-performance hydraulic camshaft. This L79 is a rocket from 2,400 rpm right on up to 5,800 rpm. The L79 camshaft itself became so popular that from 1965 through 1980, more 1957-1974 stock Chevy V-8 small-blocks were owner-fitted with the L79 factory # 3863151 camshaft than any other grind. In all, the L79 camshaft gives good throttle response, a great power curve, decent brake vacuum and a lumpy, performance, 800-rpm idle to boot. Again this nice Wagon includes Ermine White 4 door wagon. Body is laser straight and all of the chrome is very nice including trim and bumpers. Medium Red, mostly original interior. Nice with no rips, holes or anything major in all of the seats, headliner, carpet, etc. L79 327/350 HP engine from a 1966 Chevelle. This car originally had a 327 with a 4 speed and now that factory equipment is upgraded with the higher performance factory versions. The undercarriage is very nice and I will add pictures of that once I get it on a hoist. New dual Flowmaster performance exhaust Upgraded factory Air Conditioning (Blows Cold but not cold enough in 110 degree AZ heat ;)) Color Matched rally wheels with new tires. 15x8 front 15x10 rear.
