I'm not happy about selling him, but he needs a better home now. I bought this car about a decade ago in good "daily driver" condition, and that's how it was treated. I drove it just about every day there wasn't salt on the roads; in more recent years as some of the rubber seals got old, I didn't drive in heavy rain either. A bit more than a year ago, the brakes failed (slowly - master cylinder went, it seems) on my way home - but I managed to get it parked in the driveway safely (an exciting ride, to be sure), where it's sat under a tarp ever since. Details: The body chrome says this is a 1967, but the registration says 1966 - and has said that since I bought it. There's no title. Both the engine & transmission have been replaced. The engine is a B18 with SUs I bought used from a guy in the Baltimore area. My mechanic found the transmission, which is a more recent vintage (M41?) - which means neither the speedometer nor odometer are accurate. They seemed to be about 15% off. The seats are a Don T. re-do that was a gift from my wife five or six years ago, as was the Nardi steering wheel. (I sold the original) The body is in decent shape - the floor is sound, but there is bubbling in the rocker on the driver side. The body seals need replacing - I have some spares that I'll throw in.
