Vehicle Detail
1968 Camaro I am unfortunitly selling my 68 Camaro. I've owned it for 6 years and between my brother, nephew and myself have done all the work on it to this point. I bought it complete so I have alot of the original parts. The car is a frame off rotesserie restoration. I blasted the car down to the bare metal and started from there. The car is 100% solid, from the floor to the top. ABSOLUTLEY NO RUST! New floor pans. under rear seat pans, shock towers, complete upper cowl, driver side outer cowl, dash, outer rocker, outer rear wheel wells, rear drop offs, trunk, rear quater skins, etc. The underneath and subframe is painted and done. I have a solid pair of front fenders, New passenger side door, trunk lid, upper cowl, inner fender walls, fender drop offs, original seats, Steering column, Dash Cluster, Back Quater windows, window cranks, seat belts, ETC. I can go on and on. All I can say I've spared no exspense on all the sheet metal we've already done and I wish I could finish the car but I just don't have the time and with 3 kids and one only being 9 months old I'm sure you can understand. The car is ready for the finishing body work and paint. I have a clear title in hand. Please, Serious buyers only. I have alot of pics of the car from when I bought it through the restoration proccess. So let me know if you would like me to email you more pics. Please call I would rather talk to you and tell you all thats been done instead of typing it all out there's just to much to list. The pics below are a mix of what it looks like currently, through all the work we did. I will post more close ups later today. Oh and by the way the little guy in some of the pics is my son.LOL. Again, from the pics you see I had no intention on selling this car. Call (609) 839-5788 Thank You, HaroldOn Jul-17-10 at 06:12:10 PDT, seller added the following information:I am also selling Car locally, so I reserve the right to end the auction early if it sells. On Jul-17-10 at 09:03:27 PDT, seller added the following information: A couple of more comments I want to add to the description. After we cut out the old sheet metal and welded the new on I sprayed the whole car in epoxy primer on the Rotesserie. Before I painted the underneath of the car I used all metal to smooth out the welds after I grinded them, so underneath looks like all one complete floor. Its hard to tell how nice the underneath looks from the pics. Before we put the subframe back underneath the car I blasted that and epoxy primed and painted. the rear same way. The car currently is in the epoxy primer stage as you can see from the pics. So you have a great starting point to finishing the car. The quater skins were the last sheet metal pieces we did on the car and I did not get a chance to epoxy prime them. Again, we did not cut any corners on my car and all the work we have into the car was done the right way. Thanks Again.
