1957 Triumph TR-3 Roadster - Restored West Coast Car! - Absolute NO RESERVE! Here is a gorgeous and super desirable, 1957 Triumph TR-3 Roadster sports car that was restored in the mid 90's and has had under 2000 miles on it since then and best of all, it's selling No Reserve! In the prior owner's own words, "The list of work done during the restoration is long and detailed and thousands of dollars were spent on parts alone!" This unique car was part of a nine car collection that we recently purchased from a gentleman who ran into a serious financial situation and had to sell all of his 'babies'! His loss is your gain! The body is super straight and the body gaps are all straight and even as they should be. It is finished in, I believe, its' original color of British Racing Green and it's gorgeous! The finish was sanded and buffed to a high luster and looks great driving down the street as my photos show! There is an occasional nick or paint blemish associated with a car that has been used and enjoyed for 10 or 15 years, but they are minor and in no way affect the appeal of this sexy little roadster! The underside is, for the most part, original and untouched, so what you see is what you've got and that is a nice solid body! The grill and front body panel are actually TR-2 parts and give the car an earlier, rarer look and there are those that believe they are original but you be the final judge in that respect. The chrome is generally in very nice condition but there are some nicks on the wheel spinners. The glass is in good condition, the convertible top is new and the original side curtains are missing. The chrome wire wheels are beautiful and the tires are like new! The interior is very impressive and for the most part, restored! The interior is trimmed in the correct red color that was available that year and includes new seats, door panels and carpets. The dash pad and covering is like new and the gauges are clean and bright and all appear to work as they should. The wipers and running lights all work great! The horn and heater do not work. Mechanically, this little Triumph sports car runs and drives great! The engine was reported to have been rebuilt and the electrical system was done at the same time. The non-overdrive transmission and suspension were reported to have been gone thru as well and it looks and runs and drives as though they were. The brakes feel strong and the exhaust is in great condition. The engine compartment was thoroughly and exceptionally well detailed and looks Show ready!
