I am a proud 2nd owner of this 1968 Chevrolet Camaro. Bidders will have a wonderful opportunity to own a great piece of american automobile history. In and around 1990 I had purchased this car from an older gentleman who had looked to rebuild the camaro. The VIN number of this particular model indicates that it was a 6 cylinder engine with a red exterior but it seems to me that the previous owner swapped the engine to an 8 cylinder Moroso engine, changed the rear rims to a more wider fashion, changed the exhaust to a double duel exhaust, replaced the old spoiler with a different one, and changed the color from the factory color of red to black. At the time of purchase both the car and the engine was running great and every part of the car was in tact. The previous owner sold it to me because he had looked to rebuild the car but unfortunately he ran into some financial problems so I bought the car in hopes of rebuilding it myself. Unfortunatly I too could not afford to rebuild it thus leaving me to store it in my garage for about 15 years. At the present time, the engine seems to all be intact with 18126 miles on it. The exterior of the car does have rusting on and around the triming of the car as well as various spots on the exterior. The interior dash has been taken apart for the most part. The driver and passanger seats seem to be in good condition but unfortunatly the only part of the front passanger seat that remains are the interior springs to the seat which is fairly rusted (not shown in any of the pictures). Floor panals are rusted and need to be replaced. I also have the title for the car. Please feel free to send me a messege if you have ANY questions reguarding this sale and I will respond ASAP.
