Vehicle Detail

1972 Chevy Pickup We are here for you at MotoeXotica (SRS Enterprises, Inc.)Classic Cars and will ensure your online buying experience will be a pleasurable one from start to finish. We are now in our 10th year selling on Ebay with over 1,300 positive feedbacks! MotoeXotica was one of the Pioneer Classic Car dealers on Ebay and have seen a lot of dealers come and go. We have a brick and mortar 30,000 sq. ft. building on 5 acres in St. Louis, MO to serve you; we like to sell our cars the same way as we would like to purchase them, fairly and honestly. We ask for a nominal $500.00 credit card deposit and give you a 7 day grace period to inspect the car. If you find the car not to your liking we will refund your deposit with no questions asked should you get here and not like the vehicle. We all know that the financial times right now are tough. With the stock market being so volatile and investments becoming less valuable, many people are turning to the classic car market to invest their money. Putting your money into a hard asset that you can enjoy everyday is becoming a very popular option, especially now when the marketplace is lower then it’s been in many years. We invite you to put your money into a vehicle that is fun to own and brings back memories of when you were younger. We offer financing through two of the best lenders in the industry. If you visit www.jjbest.com or www.woodsidecredit.com they are currently offering very attractive rates for all collector and special interest automobiles. With loan amounts from $10,000 to $500,000, and flexible terms of up to 12 years, you can get financed for as low as 6.99%. We have recently started to offer some of our cars at a Fixed "Buy It Now" Price on Ebay. If you would like to send us a reasonable offer, please feel free to do so by clicking on the blue "Make Offer" button. We will promptly get back to you with an answer. We have found that many people don't have the time or want to get involved in the auction process. We are hoping this will make it easier for you to purchase the car of your dreams! Please feel free to contact us at anytime during the duration of the auction as many of our vehicles are sold through our dealership before the Ebay auction ends. Please see my "ME" Page for other exciting cars of distinction on EBAY. Start Slideshow Stop Slideshow Next Image Previous Image The '67-'72 Chevrolet/GMC C/K series of pickups is well on its way to achieving icon status, just as the '55-'57 Chevy passenger cars have. Neither the tri-five Chevys nor the '67-'72 pickups ever became unpopular. They maintained a solid popularity over the years, and that popularity rose steadily throughout the 90s. The demand for nice C/K examples has intensified as the most desirable trucks are quickly snapped up. Over the six-year run, more short bed Fleetside trucks were produced than Stepsides. Production numbers by bed style were pretty even for the first three years. Then in 1970 the Fleetsides took a considerable lead. That lead continued into 1971 when the Fleetside to Stepside ratio was about 3:2. In 1972, the ratio jumped to 2:1. The production number differences between Fleetsides and Stepsides was even more pronounced for longbed trucks. The differences grew yearly until 1972 when longbed Stepside production was only about 3 percent of the total run.Viewed from the outside, the only two visual differences between the 1971 and 1972 models are the rearview mirror is now glued to the windshield and there is no black stripe around the grille. Internal differences include a new door panel design and the addition of a strengthening screw on the inside of the door below the vent window division bar. This particular 1972 Chevrolet C-10 pick up has gone through a complete, frame off restoration that was just finished in October of 2009. Every nut, bolt and part has been taken out and refurbished/replaced. This truck didn’t look as good as it does today when it rolled off of the factory floor! Finished in its original color combination, the paint is nearly perfect with no imperfections. The front and rear chrome bumpers have both been rechromed and look excellent. Both doors shut tight with no uneven gaps. Glass is good with no cracks or chips and the rubber is all new. Inside, the truck is finished in olive and yellow which coincides nicely with the yellow and white exterior. The seat is freshly reupholstered with no wear showing. The same goes for the headliner, door panels, carpet and dash pad which are all perfect. The original AM push button radio has been replaced with a new Kenwood AM/FM CD player that sounds great. All the gauges are in good working order as well as the lights, blinkers, horn and wipers. The option sheet is still intact inside the glove box which shows that this was a highly optioned truck. As rare as the long beds were, they are even more rare with this many options since most were purchased strictly as work trucks. Under the hood, the truck retains the correct 400 Cu In V8 that came standard. Other options include factory power steering, power brakes, Turbo Hydramatic transmission and A/C which still blows cold! The motor is extremely nicely detailed and look better then new. The chrome valve covers and K&N air cleaner are nice touches to the V8 and really dress it up. The underside is as nice as the top. This is an obvious frame off restoration with all rubber bushings replaced as well as all of the suspension components. You won’t find many nicer then this, I promise. The miles show 38,267 and the VIN number is CCE142J126144. The truck is being sold on a clean Missouri title. No vehicle is perfect to everyone. Each vehicle has its strengths, styles, tendencies and shortcomings. Therefore, despite our best efforts to verify a vehicle's mechanical condition, we are not able to warranty a manufacturer’s workmanship or previous owner’s diligence in care.
