I am selling my Porsche 928 S4 5 Speed. For it's age the car is in great shape, I just really don't drive it much anymore. I've put a new battery in and tires and brakes are excellent as is the car itself. One or two small issues I do want to point out. The hatch does not stay up by itself. I't never been an issue for me, I just hold it open. Or, if you want, I'm sure you can purchase replacement units from 928 International very inexpensively. Also, clutch. From time to time it will slip if you really, really stomp on it. I've driven it this year and did not experience this problem, but I do want to make the potential buyer aware of this issue. If this is an issue for you will probably depends on your driving habits. I've driven this car for several years and it really hasn't bothered me. The interior is in very, very good shape. No cracks on the dash. There is a small wear/tear on the drivers side seat, pretty typical for a car this age. It is visible in the interior photo. If you would like a close-up please let me know. The timing belt and water pump were replaced at 90K miles. All repair/maintenance work was done buy a reputable, experienced Porsche/BMW/Audi garage and may be contacted regarding the maintenance and care of this vehicle. Everything else on the car works. After winter storage, I charge the battery, fire it up, and run it until fall. It has proven to be very reliable. Terms of Sale---Upon acceptance of a bid or end of the auction the buyer must forward a deposit of $500 within 24 hours (I will accept PayPal for this). The remainder of the balance is due in the form of a cashiers check. Payment must occur within in 5 days from the close of the auction. If you would like I can hold the car longer than 5 days in my garage but still require payment within 5 days. The car is for sale locally, therefore I reserve the right to cancel the auction if I receive a local offer.
