Here's a chance to own an early example of the sportbike that started it all. This is the last year of the oil cooled GSXR's before they went to water cooled bikes. I've ridden this bike in 90 plus degree temperatures and very little engine heat comes back on the rider, it's always comfortable. The bars are also mounted above the triple clamps which lends itself to a much more comfortable riding position, I'm 58 and have no problem being on the bike for hours. All the services have been done on this bike in the last couple hundred miles. All the fluids, brake, clutch and engine have been changed and it's ready to go. The pictures should pretty much tell the story on the condition of the bike, it's as good as you'll ever find, the finish on the bike is superb. This bike has never fallen over, been bumped, had boots raked over the paint, never had a tank bag on it, no dings, scrapes, scratches, tears in the seat or anything like that, tires are in good shape, there's nothing I have to make excuses for. After 9000 miles it might have a tiny, tiny stone chip somewhere but that's it. I get compliments all the time on the condition of the bike and how nice it looks. This bike has never been stunted or anything like that. The original owner (I'm the second) said he never did wheelies or anything like that with the bike, and I know I haven't. This bike is an example of being original and unmolested, no fenders cut off, turn signals replaced, or anything like that. The only thing that isn't original that I can see is the windscreen though I do have the original if someone wants it. The bike probably will have a few more miles on it at the end of the auction because I do enjoy riding the bike. Any questions you can call me at 740-531-7670, be glad to answer all if I am able.
