Hello, I really do not want to sell this car but I hurt my back and shoulder and cannot do the work on it. History: I bought this '87 Sprint Turbo from the first owner who only used it in the summer. He plowed snow in the winter so he drove his truck. It only has just over 100,000 miles. I only drove it one winter so it has very little rust as you can see in the pictures. Description: It runs great! I was getting 50 mpg with it and it is unbelievably quick for a 3 cyl. I had no problems going 65mph on the Interstate and still had plenty of power to pass anyone I wanted. Concerns: Cracked windshield, transmission needs work (it only goes into first and second gear), makes a growling noise when driving it, push in the clutch and it stops, I replaced the clutch about 2500 miles before the problem with the tranny started. Driver side window was broke out, while I was waiting to work on it. Rain water got in. Window has been replaced but the carpeting is stained with rust. I have included replacement carpet,see pics. The floorboard on the driver side is rusted but it is solid, top and bottom. I had plans to clean it up and undercoat it top and bottom. The rest of the bottom of the car has minimal rust, see pics. With a little work and a paint job, this car would be almost like new. That is what I had planned to do with it before I got hurt. I really love this car and hate to see it go so I am not going to give it away. I know what it is worth, these Sprints with Turbos are RARE. And this one is in much better condition than most. It's in great shape for a 23 yr old car. To the best of my knowledge I have told you everything about this car. It is being sold AS IS. Buyer is responsible for pick up and it can be driven onto a trailer. BONUS PARTS INCLUDED: 3 engines (all need work, one runs but knocks, one needs timing belt, one turbo needs timing belt), additional turbo set up with brain box and everything including wiring diagram, interior with bucket seats, rear seat top and bottom, door panels and carpeting, a set of good half shafts, radiator, one front brake rotor and wheel bearing, hub caps and some tires.
