Hi! I have decided to sell my Buick Reatta. This car is a 1989 model, with 185,000 miles. I was planning to restore this car but have decided it is a better plan to finish my 1958 Buick Special instead. This car has high miles. The car runs fine, drives, shifts, stops, no problem. The important sheet metal and glass parts are in exellent condition, not rusty or cracked. If you have a better car, then this car could be your parts car. I live in California, and when I bought the car last year it passed our Emissions Control Test (smog) without any difficulty. I drove the car home and around town breifly before doing a California Planned Non Operation on it as I was going to restore it and not use it for some time. The car is fully equipped with all the standard Reatta options, that means power everything. This Reatta has a low price because of the high miles, and there are several accessories not working. The problems I have seen are; Air Conditioning not cold Right outside mirror broken and gone Drivers power seat not operating Rear tires loose air No center caps for wheels Radio antennae does not deploy, and because of this I do not know the condition or functionallity of the radio The TV screen for the command center is going bad, sometimes does not display. This car is located in San Luis Obispo , California. The car runs and drives and can be driven home, but I cannot recomend doing so as I have not checked it out operationally for such a trip. The car is Non-Op'd, so if you are a California buyer you will need to secure the permit to drive it home. Due to the low value of this car I will not be paying for that or for the smog cert for change of ownership. This car will need work or restoration before operation, or it can be a parts car, please remember this when buying. The car is not a piece of junk or a rust bucket, it just needs repairs related to the above items. Also look closely at the pictures and you will see the normal types of wear and tear cosmetically associated with a 21 year old car.
