1986 honda 250r drag bike/atv Vehicle Description This is a 1986 honda 250r drag bike/atv.This 250r has a fresh motor that is on a .030 over bore,new wiseco piston kit, new main/crank bearings & seals,The cylinder has a nice clean up port job that works great.The motor setup is a 1986 short rod crank with 1988 cylinder.The crank is a honda crank with the hot rods rod on it.The crank case's have been ported or cleaned up as well.The stock head has been decked and redomed not sure what the dome size is.The motor has new clutches.The motor has a stock reed cage with boyesen reeds.There is an adjustable timing plate/counterbalancer bearing carrier on the motor.It has a lectron 38/40 high velocity power jet carb and k&n air filter.This is one of the easiest carbs to tune and adjust.THE BAD PART OF THE MOTOR IS THE CHAIN GARD CASE DAMAGE SO MANY OF THES OLD 250R'S HAVE.This bike had the damage long before i bought it and the repair has not given me any trubble since I bough it about five years ago.The shifter seal leaks just a little bit but not bad at all.The bike has chrome foot pegs,shifter,kick starter,brake pedals,extended swingarm,and out of frame drag pipe.It has a factory shorten drag axle as well.This is a fast bike.It only has one race on it since it was freshened up.This 250r is not perfect by no means but is a great looking/running bike to be 24 years old.It do's have some nicks, dings,dents,and scratches.It will still out run most new 4 strokes 450r's,yzf450's an so on and can be built to out run almost any atv drag bike.I HAVE THIS BIKE FOR SALE LOCALY AND DO RESERVE THE RIGH TO END EARLY!!!
