Vehicle Detail

I have for sale a 1997 Camaro Z28 with a 6 speed manual transmission. Im selling the car because im trying to start a family, and i cant afford both kids and a car. There has been a lot of work done on this car in the last 2,500 miles. I have the majority of the recepts for all the work done, and all the parts purchased. there are a few pictured, but i also have invoices in my email. The Engine has been rebuilt It has a racing cam shaft: 230/230 a custom grind by comp cams. Gives the car a nice burbble at idile, and comes into its own around 3000 rpm. All new rods and springs by Natches Racing. New crank and connecting rods are cast by Eagle. The pistons are Speed-pro Hypereutectic units. Bearings are by Clevite. I also put on a new Opti by MSD when the engine was rebuilt. The engine runs great and is very powerful. i never took the time to get it dynoed, but is has to be in the neighborhood of 400hp. There is a light tap in the passenger head. The tap can only be heard under load which makes me think that the lifters just need to be adjusted. then engine and transmission mounts were also replaced when the engine was rebuilt. they were replaced with polyurethane units for better dampening and better performance than the stock rubber mounts. The transmission has a new clutch by Zoom that was replaced when the engine was rebuilt, and a PRO 5.0 Shifter with a short stick, no more missed shifts from 2-3. This thing is solid, by far the best modification I did to the car. The car also has a cold air intake by slp, and full long tube headers by pacemaker. I have 2 different exhaust systems for the car. i have the pacemaker y-pipe, and an x pipe that can be mounted on the car. Currently i have the exhaust running through cats, and then dumping out behind the doors. The rear of the car was also rebuilt when the engine was rebuilt, and it has 4:10 gears by motive in it. i feel like these gears are a better match for the transmission than the stock gears. They give the car more power down low, and the car still runs at 2300 rpm at 70 on the highway. The interior is in great shape. There are no tears or rips in any of the seats, and the dashboard also has no cracks. This was one of the few 1997 camaros that came from the factory with the 1998-2002 interiors. The Radio and speakers have all been replaced with aftermarket units and perform much better than stock. As you can see in the pictures the drivers side door, and rear quarter panel are black. The car was hit while parked and there were a few dents on the rear quarter panel, and some scratches in the door. i filled in the dents an scratches with bondo and primred the car. i havent had a chance to do the final sanding, or paint it. The car has a set of ZR-1 replica rims on it. They are 17x9.5 in the front, and 17x11 in the rear. I also have an extra set of rear rims, and the stock rims that are included in the sale if the buyer would like them. The suspension has also been redone about 4000 miles ago. New springs were installed with a slightly stiffer than stock spring rate to help the car handle better. The shocks were also replaced with KYB 8 way adjustable units on all 4 corners. The rear control arms and pan hard bar have also been replaced by UMI units. I have described this car to the best of my ability, but if you have any questions feel free to call me at 215-962-9737, ask for Jeff The Buyer shall be responsible for any shipping. The car runs and drives so the buyer can drive it home if you want, but its not the type of car i would want to drive more than an hour or so. the exhaust is very loud, and mean.
