1989 VW Westfalia full camper. Serious Bidders only! The camper has two full size double beds, one downstairs and one in the pop out loft. It contains a sink, stove, fridge, table, privacy curtains and lots of storage space. There is also a storage box that acts as an additional removable seat. The interior is in good condition. The exterior paint shows normal wear and tear for a 21 year old vehicle and has been repainted 3 years ago. The Westy has a 2.1 Liter Fuel injected engine that was installed in Germany in 1998 with 97,587 miles on the vehicle. The engine runs very strong. The odometer is now showing 179,136 however that includes the mileage before the new engine was installed. It has a 4 speed manual transmission that shifts as it should and has no apparent issues. The tires were replaced in 2007 and have less than 2000 miles on them. The canvas on the pop-top is original and in good condition with minor wear. Included with the van, is a set of full curtains and a sliding door mosquito screen. The air conditioner was refurbished in 2005 and works great. Some of the issues the buyer will should be aware of are: · The driver’s side window is inoperable. It has a bad window regulator and has been wired in the up position. · The cassette player works but is dated. · Engine smokes a little at start up. · Minor exterior rust. · Both driver’s side and passengers inside arm rests are missing. · The electric door locks do not work. · Some of the interior trim is loose.
