1996 Chevrolet 3500 / 454 Crew Cab Dually Long Bed This truck is ready to work. This second family owned truck goes to indianapolis twice a month pulling a 51 foot fifth wheel trailer, and pulls it great. Truck is in great condition with the small flaws pictured. Royal Purple oil used most of it's life! Clean interior. Very dependable. Transmission rebuilt 2 years ago, had motor work done at 150,000 (don't remember what was done, engine runs perfect). Has new exhaust from manifolds back($550). Could use ball joints. I use this truck myself and everything works. COLD A/C! Woodgrain interior. At first I really didn't care for the center console until I put it to work. It is like a filing cabinet in the car! It is really useful. Truck is pretty solid with 1 small rust spot and 1 small hole from prior small accident on rear drivers door (see pictures of). Truck has minor chips and some scratches. Still a nice truck. Has the stargaser panel on the headliner that luminates the interior nicely when dark. Woodtrimmed interior is in great condition. It has runnung boards from wheel to wheel in great shape. Some lights work some do not. Has trailer wiring in the bed and at the rear, both with electric brakes. Also, this truck is equiped with the airbag system in the rear to level off those heavy loads. Controls for the airbags and the electric brakes are pictured under the drivers side dash. It all works! Good tires, decent brakes.
