Here is another vehicle from our used car "corral". We have a large quantity of used trades and many are one and two owner like this Saab 9-5. We will be listing all here on E-Bay, so keep checking back.
Here is a vehicle that will require repairs to be safe and roadworthy. It cannot be driven from our dealership and must be towed away.
This is a 1999 Saab 9-5 sedan with 138,000 miles. It is a two owner car with a history of regular mainteniance. The exterior is Deep Green Metallic and in good overall condition. The photos depict the car exactly as it was traded. We did not detail it, just a wash and vacuum for the listing photos. There is a small dent in the hood panel and another in the right front door frame. The body is solid and would look like new with a buff out.
The interior is tan leather and also in good shape. There are a pair of front buckets with center console and a roomy rear bench seat. The leather still looks nice, but the driver's seat does have some signs of wear. The air conditioning is blowing cool, not cold and will require service to be comfortable. The digital display for the radio and control center cannot be read clearly, it has some burned out sections. The power windows/locks and moonroof all operate correctly.
All four tires are matching quality Michelin radials mounted on the original alloy rims. The tires are evenly worn to 11/32" and are almost new.
The 2.3 4 cylinder engine starts right up and runs well. We do not know the condition of the transmission, although the prior owner did not complain of transmission issues. The car was driven into our dealership, but is no longer safe to drive.
The problem with this Saab is in the braking system. The brakes are "locking up". The prior owner did have the front calipers replaced, but this did not correct the problem. Our technician found both the master cylinder and vacuum booster worn and needing replacement. We will not be performing any additional diagnosis on this Saab, it is being sold "AS IS".
We have the owner's manuals and two keys.
If you are a technician, fix this Saab and enjoy all the remaining good miles.
