I have a 19789 El Camino for sale that is a project. P retty simple by project standards. The motor (I think ) is a 305 2bl and auto trans. It runs but runs rough because I have only started it a few times in the last year or so. I drove it back from the parking lot where the 18 wheeler delivered it to when I bought the car and around the block a few times. Here is what the truck needs: Interior is salvagable, but dirty from sitting, Dash is cracked and the glove box will not stay closed. The body is in pretty good shape except for a couple of dents near the rear. Pretty easy fixes and not very expensive to do. Some of the trim is off but I have it for the new owner. The front hood is pealing paint. Tires are ok but have been sitting for a long time. All the fluids should be replaced. It needs exhaust. Air cleaner housing. Windshield has a crack but will pass inspection. The mileage is unknown, ebay requires a number. The blinker stays on and the horn does not work for some reason. I have not started this project because I have a ranchero and a 300 zx to fix first. I also started working on my 1950 dodge coronet and they keep me busy. They are not for sale. I just wanted you to know why I am selling the elk. No time at all to work on it. The front header is in very, very good condition and that includes the grill , headlight assemblys and front bumper. The rear bumper is ok. I also have the wheel caps but they are is ugh condition. I have extra trim (interior & exterior that go with the truck. I will take payments, 400 down and pay off over the next 60 days. The truck stays with me until it is paid. It must be paid for and moved within 60 days or you loose the deposit and any money paid and the truck will be resold, unless we work something out before the purchase.
