1989 Chevrolet K1500 Scottsdale Side-Step Single Cab 4x4 Pickup Truck The truck has about 4,500 fresh miles on the engine and about 200,000 miles on the body, and the current engine is a 5.7L V8 that came out of a 1985 Chevy Corvette and was fully rebuilt. I also put a brand new clutch and rebuilt manual 5-speed transmission spending over $2000.00 about 3000 miles ago. The transmission started making noises so I have not been driving it but I'm told it is just a $50 part that's the throwout bearing. The rest of the trans should be fine. I also repaired the 4 wheel drive by replacing the accuator and wiring with a new one($350repair). It has Power windows that work, a 4inch body lift, 17" Custom Dick Cepek Rims and 32" Hankook Dynamic tires that are about 4000miles new(about $2000 when bought), custom Grant wood steering wheel, pioneer stereo with new speakers, ramming bar, new Flowmaster exhaust, and Full tow package. It is a VERY STRONG AND FAST running truck. It starts every time! A/C and heat works good. Has so much life left in it and with a little TLC it will be a great looking great running truck. Has the usual 20year old Chevy paint chipping, but there is really virtually little to no rust on the body. The rear of the truck is fiberglass which is in great condition. As well as the bed. The doors and tailgate are in good working condition too. Also has newer good working brakes. Totally my loss as this truck has so much potential.. What it needs: Emergency brake cable. Paint job.
