I do not know if it works or not. I bought this Rolls Royce in 2000 and have thoroughly enjoyed using the car on trips locally and it is has been shown at many car shows over the years and well received. Due to declining health I have used it less and less over the past few years and eventually put it on non-operational status with the State of California Dept of Motor Vehicles so as not to incur any fees or penalties. The title is clear and I have both it and the non-operational certificate from the Dept of Motor Vehicles. Due to the age of the vehicle it is exempt from smog certification. I have recently lost my storage and I am now listing the car for sale. The tires were replaced several years ago, but have been driven only a couple of thousand miles. When it was last used regularly, the brakes, steering and air conditioning all worked great. The transmission has been serviced in the past and shifts as it should. The engine has had tune ups and oil changes and all fluids are checked regularly. The AM FM Radio works great. The speakers are still the original speakers. The cassette unit, as I have indicated, is separate and original to the car, but is not currently hooked up to the system. The engine runs great, but if left unused for a time, there is a lifter tick that disappears once the engine has warmed up. The multitude of brake hoses were just replaced when I bought the car in 2000, and the brake discs and pads had plenty of wear left at that time. The power brake accumulators build up and hold pressure as they should with no warning lights on. There is a small leak in the overflow tank that drips onto the radiator. I had the radiator pressure tested, and it was holding pressure and not leaking when tested. The car does need valve cover gaskets. The car still runs quiet but I have not checked the exhaust system. The leather seats are original and show only wear on the driver's seat (see pictures). The car has front shoulder belts. All four door panels are in excellent condition and all look like the one pictured. This has a factory Everflex top, an option added when new and normally only ever found on the long wheel base cars. NOTE: This is not a long wheel based car! The top still looks great with no rips or tears. The body is good - no dings or dents and the paint is still ok. It looked great when I bought the car and still looks good today. The chrome is all original and still in very good condition but not show. NOTE: It was difficult trying to take a picture of the radiator grille without getting some sort of reflection bouncing back. The one close up picture of the grille shows a reflection of my driveway and gate. I tried several shots and this was the best one I could get. It is NOT a problem with the chrome. Due to the limited number of pictures eBay allows, I could not include all of the pictures I would have liked to.Both sides of the car are in great condition and the one side not shown looks just like the one that is. The car is painted white and the lower section is painted blue to match the top and leather. I have early service records of the car when it was in England and sold and serviced by Jack Barclay LTD in London, as well as an owners handbook that come with the car which are in storage at present that I will pass onto the next owner. The ceramic tile that I stated above, was to identify the selling dealer and affixed by the dealer to the inside of the glove box door. The car comes with several sets of working keys. I have taken careful consideration of today's economic conditions as well as the car's present condition (as I have described above) and have placed a selling price that I think is fair and will allow somebody the chance to own a truly classic car at a realistic and affordable price. This car is priced to sell with a NO RESERVE auction. This car is also listed locally with the same price and conditions of sale and I reserve the right to cancel this auction if need be. Terms and Conditions of Sale If you have ANY questions about this car, ASK BEFORE YOU BID! A non-refundable deposit of US$ 500 via PayPal is required within 24 hours of the winning bid. The balance is due within 7 days of the close of auction and payable by Wire Transfer or US Dollar Cashier's Check. The car MUST be paid for entirely prior to pick up. As the car is on California Non-operational status, the buyer will be responsible for pick up and transport of the vehicle. As I no longer have storage for the car I cannot hold the car any longer than the 5 days after the auction has closed. A signed title will be sent by overnight mail as soon as payment is received to the address provided by the buyer. This vehicle is being sold "AS IS" with no warranty either expressed or implied.
