Vehicle Detail

Wonderful 1969 RESTORED VW Beetle, Restored in a "Baja Racer" configuration. The previous owner took almost 8 years to restore this vehicle, and it has tons of receipts for all the new parts installed. The NEW oversized engine is mated to a free flow exhaust, and this Beetle moves almost as fast as my Porsche 911 that I sold on ebay last month. Reason that I'm selling...got to pay bills! I hate to sell this bug, as I really love her. She was restored inside and out to the original "Peru Green", and she came to me with an auxiliary fuel tank in place of a rear seat. Well, I tracked down a correct rear seat, in original condition, and I also purchased a complete reupholster kit, to match the new high back front tan buckets (not pictured since new install yesterday). So, the car now has tan front buckets, and an empty rear, ready for you to install the new cover on the provided uninstalled rear seat. I have only put about 250 miles on her in the year that I've owned her, and she runs great and strong. She will make an outstanding daily driver. The clear coat on the VW green makes the car look brand new! The tires look brand new, with 100% tread. If you want a couple of extra front tires, they are available to the winning bidder, as well as unused shade matched touch up paint, made custom for this car (really hard to get). NO RUST, Floor pan SOLID, heater boxes solid, no leaks I sold a $28,000 Porsche 911 last month, and the buyer flew in from CT to WI, and drove the car 1,000 miles to his home the day after the auction! That is the quality of the cars that I purchase for myself and maintain. Here's your chance to purchase a retored classic Beetle for $7,000 less than the new parts installed...and that's not even counting the labor! Some idiosynchronsies about the vehicle: I don't rely on the heater boxes to defrost the glass, so I installed electric-heater blowers front and rear. No interior light-the retorer just didn't put one in no windshield washer-again, the restorer didn't put one in gas flap release-kind of hard to open-you pull the cable, but you still need to use a plastic disposable knife to motivate the flap to spring open (I include the plastic knife no charge :-) The engine is MUCH MORE POWERFUL than a standard Beetle. Please be prepared to DRIVE this car. Novice manual transmission drivers will not be able to manage the full potential of this engine. This vehicle is very agile and spirited, so bidders....be able to handle the driving experience. Questions? My home phone is 920-845-5333. My name is Gary Rubel, and I want to find a GOOD HOME for this wonderful Beetle. She's deserves it after all these years and the restoration. So, here's your opportunity to purchase a RESTORED Beetle, so you know your bottom line BEFORE buying., And at a saving of thousands of dollars. All the documentation of parts will come with the vehicle.
