You are bidding on a 1990 Chevy 4wd long wide bed pickup. This truck was built by the previous owner to do some serious 4 wheeling. The engine is a small block 350 with a mild cam, 750cfm carburetor (i'm told its a 750 double pumper- but don't know how to check if thats correct), headers and true Dual Flowmaster mufflers. this thing sounds great when its running. The engine supposedly only had 5,000 miles on it when I got it, and I don't think I've put more than a 1000 on it since I've owned it. The transmission is a automatic and supposedly it is a Built Up Turbo 400 instead of the original 700R4 that would have came factory, because the Turbo 400 is supposed to be a whole lot better built transmission for going 4-wheeling and climbing stuff. The guy I purchased this from claimed that the transmission only had about a 1000 miles on it before he sold the truck to me. As you can see from the pictures the truck has good ground because it is sitting on 37 inch Mickey Thompson Super Swampers (which I'm told were like 600 bucks a piece), on 15 inch ultra rims. I think it has a body lift but I don't know how high a lift it is. I think the shocks are ranchos. The 4wd switch on the shifter went out and supposedly needs to be hooked up to a toggle switch in order to engage the solenoid for the front axle to lock in. The windshield is cracked and definately needs to be replaced. The interior is not in the best shape as you can see from the picture the drivers seat is very worn, and there are a few interior pieces missing. it does have a Sony am/fm CD player with a MP3 input , a crossfire 200watt amp and a pair of older MTX subs, but it still hits pretty hard. I am not sure what the mileage is on this truck since it doesn't even have the odometer in the dash anymore (I bought it like this), and I guess the speedometer isn't hooked up at the transmission, because it doesn't work either. The driver side door is not aligned correctly and the inside handle is broken (the plastic assembly) but still opens the door when you pull on it, and sometimes the driver's side window is hard to roll up. There is no A/C compressor on this truck, I guess the previous owner took it off for whatever reason... also the paint is not as shiny as I'm sure it once was and the front bumper is loose on one side. Every once in a while the truck will not want to start- I think the problem is in the ignition switch, or the ignition wire, cause sometimes the radio will cut off when you hit a bump. This truck has not been registered or instpected since 2005, but has been played with plenty since then. This truck was built for mudding and 4-wheeling, not for everyday driving, so keep that in mind. I have listed everything I can think of as honestly as possible. If you are looking for a good deal on a 4wd pick up to play around with then this may be the truck for you. At least it would be a good start on a 4wd project. The truck does run and sound great. It will really smoke the tires when it is in the 4 Low Range.
