Vehicle Detail

1993 Chevrolet Silverado 4x4 Sportside Pickup. Offered for sale by the original owner. Purchased new in Dec. 1993 at Kimball Motors in San Luis Obispo California. Have all of the original documentation, paperwork, window sticker etc. etc. This Silverado, top of the line, is loaded with all factory options. 5.7 V-8, 4-speed automatic overdrive, PS,PB,AC,PDL,PW, factory AM/FM Stereo, factory in-dash tach etc. Being the original owner I know the full history of this super nice 4x4 1/2 ton stepside/sportside truck. The 4x4 has NEVER been in use. Ever! The bed of the truck still looks almost factory fresh. Of course it helps when shortly after it's purchase I installed polished aluminum diamond plate panels on the front, both sides and on the tail gate. As well as the top rails. From day one the bottom of the bed has been lined with rubber purchased from Kimball Motors. No wonder the bed is so nice and original. This Chevy 4x4 has never been in an accident and has zero body work done to it. In 2001 I installed a brand new GM 1994-1997 grill that I feel is a much nicer looking grill. Shortly after that I purchased a custom built steel (not fiberglass) Ram-Air Hood. As you can see in the pictures it looks awesome. I continually receive "thumbs up" comments about it and the 2 year only "Medium Quasar Blue" paint which is all original except the hood which was a paint to match. Unlike most all fiberglass/plastic hoods this steel Ram Air Hood fits very well. The truck has been professionally maintained from day one, mostly by myself. I was in the transmission repair business for approx. 39 years in Santa Maria, Calif. All oil changes are done using Mobil 1 10/30 wt. The trans and diff were serviced approx. 1 year ago using synthetic fluids only. My Silverado 4x4 is very clean, rattle free and has never been abused. I have babied it from the day I bought it new in 1993. It has alot of pampered miles but you would never believe it, once you take a good look, and better yet, drive it. By the way, there are no leaks - oil/water etc. of any kind. I hate leakers. The rare body style in today's world has been garaged at night all of it's life, unless I was on a trip somewhere. I am only selling my baby after 17 years of enjoyment because it's time to move on and purchase my new 2011 Silverado. Sure hope I don't regret selling my 17 year old Chevy truck. I don't care who says what but there's nothing like a loaded Chevrolet Silverado Truck. Enough Said and Good Luck! P.S. I forgot to mention that at 187,000 miles I installed a brand new GM 5.7 engine that was a 35 H.P. increase over the original 5.7 engine. Being that I was in the transmission repair business at the time I installed the fresh engine and also freshened up the transmission as well. P.S. Powered by eBay Turbo ListerThe free listing tool. On Jun-25-10 at 11:48:05 PDT, seller added the following information: Some added info: The wheels you see on my Chevy Silverado are very rare in that American Racing Wheels(top name in specialty wheels) did a very short run of them. Knowing this I purchased 5 of them. One is on the spare tire. I had to purchase 3 in Calif. and 2 of them out of other states. Being they are 6 lug rather than 5 lug that would be on 2 wheel drive trucks, makes them so rare. I have never seen a Chevy 4x4 truck with a set of these wheels. When truck shopping last weekend and after I saw new Chev/GMC top of the line pickups I am begining to have second thoughts after selling my truck after seeing the prices (unreal) loaded Silverado reg cab 2 wh drive $ 36,000.00. Plus all the stuff under the hood, clueless as to work on it should the time come. But I think I can still change oil and filter providing I can find it. Should my truck not meet reserve which is not too far away. I believe I will keep it for another 17 years. By that time I'll be 87. Too damn old to be on the road. Should you be the winning bidder you WONT be disappointed. Enough Said and Good Luck
