This is a no reserve auction! The high bidder will win this truck! Up for auction is my 2003 Chevy Silverado Regular Cab 4x4…this is one great truck! It has been in the Atlanta area since day one, this translates to ZERO rust anywhere. This truck drives absolutely perfectly in every way. There are no rattles at all, the doors, glove box ashtray etc are all tight and rattle free. If I didn’t have too many vehicles already I would hang on to this one. I bought this truck from the original owner’s son-in-law. The original owner was 70 years old, he bought the truck new in 03’, but unfortunately he died only a few years later. At that time the truck had 44,000 miles on it. I purchased the truck at that point and it has been absolutely trouble free since. This truck has been meticulously maintained and serviced. The transmission, transfer case and rear differential have been serviced every 30,000 miles since 60,000 miles. Since it has 118,000 on it I decided to go ahead and do the service on them early so it’s ready to go. I replaced the serpentine belt at 90,000 miles so it’s good for a while. The oil is changed every 3,000 miles whether the computer says it needs it or not. I run Mobile One synthetic and Wix oil filers in all my gas engines. I replaced the brakes all the way around about 4 weeks ago; this included new front rotors and pads as well as rear pads and parking shoes. At the same time I replaced the shocks with Monroe coil overs in the rear and Sensatrac in the front. The truck rides and drives GREAT!!! About six months ago I had a check engine light come on, it needed a knock sensor so I had both of them replaced. That was a $1,000 job and it was professionally done. The tires are in great shape with no cupping or uneven wear, vibrations or sounds. The exhaust is bone stock with no aftermarket mufflers etc. The windshield was replaced 2 months ago and is still in PERFECT condition. The AC is so cold you can’t run it wide open no matter how hot it is outside! Also, notice how many of the northern trucks for sale have been detailed underneath, this is to hide rusted bolts etc. As you can see this truck has no rust issues at all. For options and features this truck has the 4.8 V8 which gets 17mpg around Atlanta and 21 on the highway. It has an automatic transmission with tow/haul. It has power locks and manual windows (one less thing to break). It also has a manual shift for the 4x4 on the floor. (no expensive to repair electronic push buttons) It has a 3.73:1 limited slip differential and the 7700 lb. towing package with receiver hitch. The floor has a factory rubber mat so no carpet to get nasty or stained. The windows are tinted and the bed has had a factory liner since new. About the vehicle's history. Carfax shows that there has only been one owner, this is inaccurate. I am the second owner. It also shows an accident on 08/05/08. This is accurate and the damage was strictly cosmetic. I had the truck repaired at Rick Hendrick's Chevrolet and the repairs were done VERY nicely. I have some pics of the damage and it is obviously minor damage. I can email those pics to anyone that would like to see them upon request. The Autocheck system that eBay uses is pretty pathetic in it's accuracy and they absolutely refuse to fix any errors that they report. At the time of me posting this I have no idea what their report will say. I've seen it list wrecked vehicles as clean and clean vehicles as having damage history. Hopefully it'll be accurate but I won't know until the listing posts. This is why I pulled a Carfax and posted the findings of that here...even Carfax was inaccurate by reporting one owner versus two. I'm just trying to give an honest and open description of the truck.
